About Me

My photo
Brian Gregg
How the hell did I get here? I started this blog on my 45th birthday. For 44 years, I'd essentially been responsible for only myself. That changed with my wedding vows in 2010, and really changed a few months later when my wife showed me the positive mark on the dipstick used to determine pregnancy. I've never had the burning desire to be a father. But I knew it was part of the deal when I married a younger woman. Now, I have two wonderful children who share my DNA and I'm scared as hell about being a good father and taking responsibility for these lives. That's the first confession! Plenty more will come over the course of this blog. Other than being a dad, I am husband to the lovely Brooke, a special education teacher. I am also chief communications officer for a government agency and a former newspaper writer. In my spare time, I like to...who am I kidding? I don't have any spare time. I have two kids.
